During the discussions, special emphasis is placed on the need to consolidate inter-state efforts to increase the potential of the trade union movement.
CGIL General Secretary Susanna Kamuso, leaving her post, encouraged The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and the international trade union movement as a whole to strengthen its influence at the international level by including new members around the world. This, she said, would enable the ITUC to become a platform for fighting for workers ‘ rights against the growing power of transnational companies.
During his working visit to Italy, Chairman of the Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Abdirayim held a number of meetings, during which the possibilities of cooperation between the trade unions of Kazakhstan and Malaysia were discussed.
