Social Partnership

Social partnership – a system of relationships between employees (representatives of employees), employers (representatives of employers), government agencies aimed at ensuring the coordination of their interests on the regulation of labor relations and other, directly related labor relations, as well as socio-economic relations based on Equal cooperation.

Social partnership in the Republic of Kazakhstan is ensured in the form of interaction between the parties through social partnership authorities:

  • at the republican level – the Republican Tripartite Commission on Social Partnership and the Regulation of Social and Labor Relations;
  • on the sectoral level – sectoral commissions on social partnership and the regulation of social and labor relations;
  • at the regional (regional, urban, district) level – regional, urban, district commissions on social partnership and the regulation of social and labor relations.

The fundamental document of the social partnership in the Republic of Kazakhstan is the General Agreement concluded between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the republican associations of employees and the republican associations of employers.
