On April 24, 2019, a meeting of the General Council of the FPRK was held in Nur Sultan, where the issue of nomination of the FPRK candidate for participation in the presidential elections was considered.
Yesterday the Executive Committee of the FPRK has approved and submitted for consideration by the General Council two candidates: Tinikeev Mukhtar Bakirovich, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan and Taspihov Amangeldy Satybaldievich, Chairman of the territorial Association of trade unions of West Kazakhstan region.
As a result of hearing and discussion, as well as in connection with the recusal of M. B. Tinikeev, it was decided to nominate Taspikhov Amangeldy Satybaldievich as a candidate for President of Kazakhstan.

TASPIHOV AMANGELDY SATYBALDIEVICH was born November 20, 1959 in West Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V. I. Lenin on a speciality of the engineer-mechanic
He began his career as a process engineer at the Almaty heavy machinery plant in 1982. In different years he held senior positions in the civil service, worked in business structures.
He was elected Deputy of Maslikhat of West Kazakhstan region, as well as Deputy of the Senate and Mazhilis.
From 2019 is the President of the territorial Association of trade unions of West Kazakhstan region.
Awarded the Order “Kurmet” (2005), medals.
He is married and has two children.
