The expansion of dialogue, strengthening of social partnership, increasing the role of trade unions in the creation of an effective system of protection of labor rights and interests of workers, ensuring labor safety, public control over compliance with labor legislation are the most important components in the modernization of trade Union activity of KAZMUNAIGAZPROF.
In Shymkent on April 29-30 this year, the Chairman of the Public Association “national trade Union of oil and gas complex” (hereinafter — KAZMUNAJGAZA) Sultan Kaliev, Deputy Talgat Eidinow took part in the seminar-workshop on the theme: “Social partnership in the oil and gas industry” organized by the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the Association “KAZENERGY”, JSC NC “KazMunayGas” JSC and local Executive body.
The main purpose of the forum organizers is to create conditions for the expansion of social dialogue, discussion of topical issues of the development of social partnership, collective and contractual processes, prevention of labor conflicts in the oil and gas industry and regions of the Republic, clarification of changes and additions to the labor legislation, ensuring transparency and accountability in the work of the Sectoral Commission on social partnership under the Ministry of energy of Kazakhstan.
In the conference hall of PetroKazakhstan oil products LLP representatives of all parties of social partnership-heads and trade Union activists of the enterprises, the management of Executive bodies and the city professional center, branch trade unions, representatives of mass communication of the city gathered for a seminar — meeting.
In the forum took part were: Deputy akim of Shymkent city Gulzhan kurmanbekova, Deputy Director of the Department of oil industry development of the Ministry of energy of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Makhanov, the Executive Director of the Association “KAZENERGY” Lyazzat of Akmurzin, head of the Department of labour inspection and migration of Shymkent city Bauyrzhan Kalzhanov, the Director of the Department of social policy of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” JSC Yerkin rahimbergenov, Director of legal and administrative matters and personnel management of LLP “PetroKazakhstan oil products” Gulnaz Ashirbaev.

Chairman of the Kazakhstan oil and gas industry trade Union Elena Mustafina informed the participants of the meeting about the activities of industry trade unions for the development of social partnership and collective bargaining regulation of labor relations, the implementation of the current Industry agreement for 2017-2019, as well as participation in the development of the draft new Industry agreement for 2020-2022.
As a result of the seminar-meeting, the participants made recommendations on interaction and strengthening of social partnership, expansion of social dialogue in labor collectives, as well as on the prospects of work on the development of a draft new Sectoral agreement for 2020-2022 in the oil and gas industry.
Members of the tripartite Sectoral Commission on social partnership visited Shymkent oil refinery, got acquainted with the production technology, achievements of the workforce.
