According to the approved for the year 2019 of the official calendar of sports events in the Republic of Kazakhstan Committee for physical culture and sports of the Ministry of culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 7 to 8 June 2019 in the city Nur-Sultan passed the Republican inter-sectoral Spartakiad of workers with the participation of 12 Republican branch trade unions: Kazakhstan branch trade Union of workers of education and science, Kazakhstan branch trade Union of workers of railway, automobile, air and water transport, Branch mining and metallurgical trade Union “Kazprofmetal”, Branch trade Union of workers of state, banking institutions and public services, Branch trade Union of workers of construction complex and housing and communal services, Sectoral trade Union of workers of chemical, petrochemical and related industries, the national trade Union of energy, Industry professional engineering Union, Sectoral trade Union of information, communication and telecommunications, the national trade Union of workers of small and medium business “YNTYMAQ”, trade Union of health workers “SENIM”, Kazakh oil and gas industry trade Union.
The purpose of these sports competitions among the working population of the country is:
health of healthy people, involving them in active physical culture and sports, promoting among them a healthy lifestyle and the cult of a working person as a source of well-being of his family, his country.
The competitions were held at two sports facilities of the capital: the ice Palace of sports “Alau”, the Central stadium. K. Munaitpasova, school-Lyceum № 56 and the House of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As a result of two-day wrestling places of teams on 6 sports were distributed as follows:

In the team event of the Republican inter-sectoral Spartakiad of workers in 6 sports places were distributed as follows:
On June 7, 2019, on the unique stage of the embankment of the Yessil river located in the open air — “Amphitheatre”, the opening ceremony of the sports Festival with the participation of Kazakhstani pop stars was held. Chairman of the Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Abdraim and Chairman of the Committee for sports and physical culture, Olympic champion in Boxing Serik Sapiyev made a welcoming speech here. Colorful ceremony with a parade of participants and a concert was liked by all those present in the stands, there were more than 1000 people. At this sports event was also held an action in support of the candidate for President of Kazakhstan from the Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan Taspikhov A. S.
On June 8, the awarding ceremony of the winners and the closing ceremony of the games took place in the same place. The guest of honor of the event was the Olympic champion, world champion, now a professional boxer, Daniyar Veleusinov!
The organizers plan to hold the winter Olympics of workers and competitions in sports, timed to the Day of trade unions of Kazakhstan – October 10.
