It has become a good tradition to hold the annual republican contest “Uzbek Zholy”, which helps to raise the status of the Labor Man in society.
The purpose of the competition is to determine the best labor dynasties and production workers in order to educate young people in a spirit of respect for work, preservation and enhancement of labor traditions.
In the capital of Kazakhstan, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Republican contest “Jibek Zholy” in the nominations “Best Labor Dynasty”, “Best Mentor for Young Workers”, “Best Young Production Worker” was held.
The event, held at the Independence Palace, was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Birzhan Nurymbetov, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tinikeev, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of NPP Atameken, republican associations of workers and employers, local executive bodies, labor veterans and laureates of the regional stage of the competition. The chief specialist of the Trade Union Center of the North Kazakhstan region Turalinov Zh.N.
The winners of the competition were determined by a special republican commission chaired by the vice minister of labor and social protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Sarbasov, taking into account online voting.
To participate in the competition in 2019, 21 applications were received from organizations in the region, including 7 applications for the nomination “Best Labor Dynasty”, 6 for the Best Mentor for Working Youth, and 8 for the Best Young Worker.
Active participation was attended by representatives of sectoral trade unions in agriculture, education, healthcare “SENIM”, government agencies, from which 12 applications were received.
At the regional stage of the competition, the winners in the nominations were: “The best labor dynasty” – the Shkodin family (agricultural trade union (Esilsky district), “The best mentor of working youth” – AR Safargaleev – master of the Construction Company LLP (Petropavlovsk), “The best young production worker” – Shevchenko Yu.A. – doctor of the Ualikhanov Central District Hospital (trade union of health workers “SENIM” (Ualikhanovsky district)
It is worth noting that at the republican stage of the competition in the nomination “Best Young Production Worker” the 1st place was awarded to Yulia Shevchenko, general practitioner of the Ualihanov Central District Hospital of the North Kazakhstan Region, a member of the SENIM branch of the Public Health Industry Workers’ SENIM Branch, with delivery of money certificate of 1,000,000 tenge.
The stars of the Kazakhstan stage Nurlan Onerbayev and Madina Sadvakasova spoke before the participants of the award ceremony. The event was widely covered by the media.
