Today, members of the General Council accepted the new Sectoral Trade Union of Coal Miners Kazugleprof into the Federation, which unites 15 thousand miners in their ranks.
Chairman of Kazugleprof Marat Mirgayazov thanked the members of the General Council, noting that earlier the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan repeatedly defended the rights of miners.
“We never felt separated from the Federation of Trade Unions. Thanks to FPRK, many problems of miners were solved, ”M. Mirgayazov noted.
In turn, the Chairman of the FPRK, Eraly Tugzhanov, emphasized the role of trade unions in protecting the rights of the Labor Man.
“The main task of the trade unions is to protect the social and labor interests and rights of ordinary workers,” the FPRK Head emphasized.
Members of the General Council adopted a new Information Policy Concept for the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Presenting the draft Concept, the Director of the FPRK Media Center, Gulmira Karakozova, said that the main emphasis in the work was to work with primary trade union organizations and to increase public awareness of the work of trade unions in protecting the rights of workers.
Eraly Tugzhanov called on all FPRK affiliates to intensify their work in the information field to explain the main reforms carried out by the state in the social and labor sphere and their implementation in the framework of social partnership.
“Every simple union member should be aware of current events and know how to protect their rights,” the FPRK Head noted.
During the meeting, the presentation of the experience of the Trade Center of the Kostanai region on the creation of trade union kindergartens took place.
The Chairman of the Trade Union Center for the Kostanai Region, Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva, spoke about the work of preschool organizations for children of members of trade unions in the region operating in the framework of public-private partnerships.
According to her, the creation of kindergartens made it possible to provide social support to the families of members of the unions of medical, transport, educational, engineering, business, as well as postal services of the public service.
In total, 198 children from 2 to 5 years old are enrolled in preschool education and upbringing in trade union kindergartens.
The working hours of institutions are adapted to the parents’ work schedule – an extended day group, a weekend group are functioning. On weekdays, kindergartens are open until 21.00 h.
Eraly Tugzhanov noted the positive experience of the Trade Center of the Kostanay region, emphasizing the high social significance of these pre-school institutions for workers with shift and special work schedules.
The head of FPRK called for the implementation of such social projects in all regional trade union organizations to support workers and members of their families.
The FPRK General Council also approved a number of personnel issues.
So, according to the decision of the General Council members in connection with the dismissal, the powers of the General Council members of the deputy chairman of the FPRK Yerzhan Egemberdiev, the chairman of the TOP “Trade Center of the Mangystau Region” Kikbai Zhaulin, the chairman of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers Mayra Amantayeva and the chairman of the youth council of the FPRK “Keleshek” Espenbak were terminated. Kalshor.
Nurlan Uteshev, deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aigul Mukasheva, chairman of the Kazakhstan branch trade union of education and science workers, Merzhan Tumanov, chairman of the trade union center of the Mangistau region, and Daria Khamitanzhanova, chairman of the youth council of FPRK, were elected as new members of the General Council.
The General Council decided to convene on October 9, 2020 the XXVI Congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
