Chairman of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin held telephone talks with the Head of the sector of Europe and Central Asia of the workers ‘ Bureau of the International labor organization Sergius Glovackas.
During the conversation, the parties discussed prospects for further development of cooperation between the Federation of trade Unions of Kazakhstan and the ILO workers ‘ Bureau to overcome the consequences of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the issues of preserving jobs, ensuring safe working conditions at the workplace, strengthening social dialogue and ratifying conventions of the International labour organization.
The parties noted the importance of further coordination of actions to protect the social, economic and labor rights of employees, and agreed to continue contacts.
