The Federation of Trade Unions held a solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Satybaldy Dauletalin stressed the high significance of the holiday for all the people and noted the role of the First President in the creation and formation of independent Kazakhstan.
“Kazakhstan gained independence peacefully, but the creation and establishment of independent Kazakhstan is not an easy process. The history of Kazakhstan’s independence has many achievements. All this is the result of the wise and balanced policy of Elbasy and his hard work. This has formed a new way of development of the state,” said the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions.
According to Satybaldy Dauletalin, taking into account the special role of the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the history of the country’s trade unions, on the eve of Independence Day, the Federation of Trade Unions awarded Elbasy with the highest award “Kasipodak Danky”, with his name in the Book of Honor of the FTURK.
“By the 30th anniversary of independence, the Federation of Trade Unions has made significant progress in creating decent living conditions for workers. Behind these achievements is the contribution of each of you. Your daily hard work is a real contribution to strengthening independence,” Satybaldy Dauletalin said.
The solemn meeting continued with the awarding ceremony of trade union members. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 21 representatives of trade union organizations were awarded state awards.
Satybaldy Dauletalin presented the trade union leaders, trade union activists and employees of the Federation with the order “Parasat”, “Kurmet”, the medal “Eren enbegi ushin”, the Certificate of Honor of the President, the jubilee medal “Kazakhstan Republikasyn Tauelsizdigine 30 zhyl”, Letters of thanks from the Prime Minister.
For the contribution to the development of the trade union movement, Medals of the Federation of Trade Unions “Kasipodaktagi belsendi zhumysy ushin”, Certificates of honor and letters of thanks of the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded.
Yuri Litvinov, Chairman of the Trade union committee of Kurylysmet LLP, awarded the Order of “Kurmet”, noted that over the years of independence, the trade union movement of the Karaganda region has achieved high results, which were highly appreciated by the Federation of Trade Unions and the country’s leadership.
“Many of us stood at the origins of the formation of our state. It was a difficult period, but thanks to the right path chosen by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, we have achieved significant victories,” he said.
Chairman of the Branch Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Kazakhstan Aigul Mukasheva, awarded by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the medal “Eren enbegi Ushin”, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Federation of Trade Unions, as well as the trade union community of the industry.
“Today’s award is a personal award, and our industry award. The branch trade union will always stand for the protection of the rights and interests of trade union members,” she said.
The heads of trade union organizations thanked the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions for their contribution to the development of the country and shared their memories of the period of independence.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions told about how, as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR of the 12th convocation, he participated in the adoption of the Constitutional Law “On State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. He recalled that the formation of modern Kazakhstan was a difficult period.
According to the chairman of the Branch Trade Union of employees of the state, banking and Public Service Mirbolat Zhakypov, who was awarded the jubilee medal “Kazakhstan Republikasyn Tauelsizdigine 30 zhyl”, the procedure for declaring independence lasted 2 years.
“For 30 years we have conquered many peaks. We must continue the course chosen by the First President. The Federation of Trade Unions is the largest organization in the country, uniting about 2 million people. We are proud to be part of the trade union movement,” Mirbolat Zhakypov added.
On the eve of the celebration of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan, solemn events were held in all member organizations, during which members of the trade union were honored with the presentation of state and trade union awards.
