Chairman of the FTURK initiates “Taza Kazakhstan” campaign at the trade union children’s camp “Munayshy”

During a working visit to Aktobe Region, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Satybaldy Dauletalin, visited the trade union children’s health camp Munayshy, operating under CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC, and initiated the planting of an alley as part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” campaign.

It should be noted that the camp, which has been providing organized summer recreation and health improvement for children for more than 40 years, was fully transferred to the balance of the company’s local trade union in 2024. After major renovations and infrastructure upgrades, Munayshy reopened and has once again become a favorite holiday destination for the children of oil workers.

According to the chairman of the local trade union of CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC, Samat Satov, the camp currently hosts 2,450 children per season, most of whom are children of company employees. Recreation is organized in 7 sessions, each lasting 10 days.

“Special attention is paid to the social support of the company’s employees. Therefore, parents pay only 10% of the cost of the voucher, 20% is covered by the trade union, and 70% by the employer. The renovated camp offers all conditions for полноценный отдых: a medical center, a cinema, and a new football field are available. The camp program is rich in cultural and entertainment activities, creative projects, and team-based events that contribute to the comprehensive development of children,” said Samat Satov.

After reviewing the camp’s readiness for the upcoming holiday season, Satybaldy Dauletalin invited the accompanying colleagues—heads of sectoral trade union branches—to take part in planting a new alley on the camp grounds. By order of the Chairman of the FTURK, pine saplings had been delivered earlier that morning.

“The nationwide ‘Taza Kazakhstan’ campaign is actively supported by trade unions across the country. Planting tree saplings carries deep meaning—it represents future gardens and fresh air for our children. In general, the initiative of our President, ‘Taza Kazakhstan,’ has united the nation. Today, it is being implemented in all corners of the country. This is not a one-day effort—it reflects our vision for the future of our country. For trade unions, it is a kind of ‘Day of Unity.’ It is our amanat (sacred duty) to future generations, something that unites us all. Today, representatives of our sectoral trade unions are present here, and this is also their contribution to ensuring that the place where children отдыхают continues to develop and, in the future, turns into a large alley, a big park. I am confident that this initiative will become a symbol of continuity between generations, care for the environment, and investment in the future of our children,” said Satybaldy Dauletalin.

In turn, the chairman of the local trade union, Samat Satov, assured that the alley initiated by the FTURK leadership would be further expanded through the efforts of employees of CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC.
