Within the framework of the online educational course of the FTURK a seminar on improving the legal culture of trade union personnel was held for members of the trade union of the Zhambyl region and the Branch Trade Union of Information, Communications and Telecommunications Workers.
Welcoming the participants, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Nurlan Uteshev noted the importance of forming a high professional level of trade union activists and members to protect the legitimate interests of employees and develop social partnership.
The Deputy chairman of the FTURK presented to the participants of the seminar a new trade union project “Keep treated and Learn!”.
According to his opinion, the project is aimed at ensuring the availability of health improvement services and simultaneous training for trade union members and their families.
The educational and health project was launched as a pilot mode on the basis of the rehabilitation center “Adal Niet Astana” in the city of Nur-Sultan with the subsequent dissemination of experience in trade union health resorts.
“The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that within ten days a trade union member gets access to high – tech rehabilitation services and a wide range of wellness services, while combining rest with trade union training,” Nurlan Uteshev said.
At the same time, he has highlighted that the implementation of the project during the year allows 12 thousand trade union members to undergo medical rehabilitation, combining rest with advanced training.
Lyudmila Golenkova, the chief specialist of the Trade Union Center of the North Kazakhstan region, introduced the audience to the key aspects of the prevention and resolution of labor disputes and the organization of the work of the Conciliation Commission.
The participants were interested in new mechanisms for resolving labor disputes between an employer and an employee.
The chief specialist of the Trade Union Center of the Kyzylorda region, Mayra Boranbayeva, focused on topical issues of regulating labor relations. The lecturer presented an overview of the latest changes in labor legislation, the practice of its application, and also spoke about the peculiarities of the legal status of the parties to labor relations.
During the meeting the exchange of views, specific examples of the resolution of labor disputes and the practice of applying legislative norms were considered.
The members of the trade union outlined the high importance of new educational projects of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
