“Over the past few years, the initiatives of the Federation and its member organizations to improve the welfare of the country’s workers have been heard and supported by the President of the country. The gradual increase in the minimum wage, the instruction of the Head of State to the Government to develop a methodology for forming the minimum wage, a detailed consideration of the Federation’s proposals to the labor legislation are concrete answers to the requests of our trade unions. In foreign policy, in the complex geopolitical realities in which the region found itself due to conflicts in the post-Soviet space, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also showed his firm position as an authoritative diplomat who cares about the interests of his country, the President and a world-class politician. The transformations initiated by Tokayev meet the needs of society. Therefore, I support the current President of Kazakhstan in the election race – this is my personal civic position. On behalf of the Federation, we will make a decision collectively,” concluded the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin.
