CTUCA CUP – 2023 FUTSAL CUP: UNDER THE MOTTO OF FRIENDSHIP AND EFFECTIVE COOPERATION

On May 18, the Second International Futsal Tournament for the Cup of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries “CTUCA CUP – 2023” started in Astana.

The tournament is aimed at popularizing and developing futsal among trade union workers of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian countries, promoting a healthy lifestyle, attracting members of trade unions of the countries of the region to regular physical culture and sports.
6 teams took part in the II international futsal tournament between the teams of the national trade union centers of Central Asian countries “CTUCA CUP – 2023”.
Opening the tournament, SPECA Secretary General – Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin wished the participants success, stressing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in the trade union movement.

“Dear friends, sports fans, fans, football players! Welcome to the hospitable Kazakh land! The futsal tournament has become a good tradition. The first tournament was held last year in Tashkent. I want to congratulate the national team of Uzbekistan – the winners of the first cup. I am sure that today we will witness beautiful heads, positive emotions and get a large charge of energy. Trade unions always support a healthy and active lifestyle and the development of mass sports. I wish all teams success, decent play and bright victories! I declare the second international futsal tournament between the trade unions of Central Asian countries open,” said Dauletalin addressed the players of Satybalda.

The coaches and captains of the participating teams expressed their support to the players of the current SPECA tournament.

Chairman of the Trade Union of Public Education Workers of Sughd Region of the Republic of Tajikistan, coach of the team of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Samizoda Musobek called the strengthening of friendly ties between trade union organizations and the development of sports among workers of the Central Asian region the main goal of the competition.

“This event is designed to lay a solid foundation for good-neighborliness and friendly relations of our organizations. I wish all teams good results. I think all the teams will show excellent results. Recently, our President came to Astana and met with the President of Kazakhstan. Bilateral relations between our countries are fruitful. Therefore, I believe that relations between the trade unions of our countries will also strengthen, including in the field of sports. This year our team turned 3 years old. Our players are members of the trade union of public education workers. They were tasked with showing a high level of training. I hope they will show their skills,” said Samizoda Musobek.

Head coach of the team of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan Meder Atayanov expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh side for their hospitality.
“Our team is taking part in the tournament of trade union teams of national trade union centers of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries for the first time. On my own behalf and on behalf of the whole team, I want to express my gratitude to the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome. The brotherhood of our peoples lies in respect. I think this game will be held in the spirit of good-neighborliness and will be productive. Six years have passed since the formation of the team of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, assembled from ordinary trade union members. Among them are miners, geologists, security guards. Our players will perform in an international tournament for the first time and are positive, have high hopes for the game,” Meder Atayanov shared.

Batbayar Byamjav, captain of the Mongolian Confederation of Trade Unions team, also wished success to trade union football players.
“Our trade union team consists of ordinary workers. They were preparing very seriously for the tournament and intend to adequately represent their trade union organizations. This is our first international tournament. The Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan warmly welcomed us and organized a high-level event,” Batbayar Byamjav said.

Coach of the team of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Polatov, in turn, reminded that their team is the first winners of the SPCA Cup.
“We are glad to come to Kazakhstan, knowing that we will be very well received here. In this regard, I want to express my gratitude to the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conditions for football players are very good. Our team came to defend the championship title. We are the first winners of the tournament, which was held last year. This year, the number of participants in the tournament has increased. I think that the number of teams will grow from year to year, and today’s tournament will be held in a friendly atmosphere. Needless to say, the most important thing in sports is friendship,” said Shukhrat Polatov.

The captain of the team of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baglan Ashimov noted that interest in futsal in Kazakhstan is growing today.
“Our team was created 2 years ago. The Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan supports and promotes futsal among trade union members. This year, the tournament of trade unions of Central Asian countries is being held in Kazakhstan. Evidence that interest in this sport is growing is that all teams of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries gathered in this hall. I’m sure we have very worthy rivals. We have a stubborn struggle for the championship, but we hope to win the SPECA Cup. Footballers of the Federation of Trade Unions prepared very responsibly for this meeting,” Baglan Ashimov believes.

It should be noted that 2 teams of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan joined the fight for the SPECA Cup at once.
The first day of the tournament was very busy for the players and ended with impressive results.

The match Kyrgyzstan – Kazakhstan 2 ended with a score of 1:4.
The game of Uzbekistan-Mongolia teams ended with a score of 7:1 in favor of Uzbek athletes.

The match between the teams of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan ended with a score of 9:6. The meeting on the field of the teams of Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan ended with the victory of Kyrgyz players with a score of 1:14.

The game Tajikistan – Kazakhstan 2 ended with a score of 3:5.
Kazakhstan 2 also won in a meeting with the team of Mongolia, finishing the match with a score of 10:4.

A confident victory with a score of 11: 1 was won by the team of Uzbekistan in the match with Tajikistan.

The teams of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan drew with a score of 3:3. The game with the team of Kyrgyzstan ended with a score of 6:0 in favor of the team of Kazakhstan.

The second day of May 19 will continue with teams competitions: Tajikistan-Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan – Kazakhstan 2, Mongolia – Tajikistan, Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan-Mongolia, Kazakhstan 2 – Uzbekistan.

The final of the tournament will be held with the participation of the heads of the national trade union centers of SPECA, as well as invited honoraries, including Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sarsen Kuranbek, head coach of the Kazakhstan futsal team Paolo Ricardo Kaka, President of the Football Federation of Kazakhstan Adilet Barmenkulov, President of the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions Turk Ish Yergun Atalay and Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Javanshir Alkhasov.

The winners of the tournament will receive the transitional Futsal Cup of trade union teams of national trade union centers of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries “CTUCA CUP”. In addition, players will be awarded in several nominations.
