A sub regional seminar on “Employment and decent work for peace and the potential for counteraction: the role of trade unions in Eastern Europe” organized by the International Labour Organization’s Bureau of Workers ‘ activities was opened today in Issyk-Kul (ILO).
Participants of the seminar will discuss the important issues as the participation of trade unions in conflict prevention and resolution, disaster management and peacemaking, decent work in conditions instability conflict and natural disasters and the role of the ILO.
The seminar is attended by leading experts of the ILO: Sergeys Glovackas (AKTRAV), Stefan Benedict (inc), Anton Leppik (inc/PERC), Mohammed Muamadzingo (AKTRAV), Gocha Alexandria (AKTRAV), etc.
On behalf of the Federation of Trade Unions of the RK the first deputy chairman Birzhan Nurymbetov, Advisor of the chairman Amanzhol Zhankuliev and Chairman of the Trade Union Center of Almaty Region Asset Kydyrmanov take part in the sub regional seminar.
