On Friday, 2 October, a meeting was held at the central office of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FTURK) between FTURK Chairman Satybaldy Dauletalin and Zhumabek Zhanykulov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan “PARYZ”.
During the meeting, the social partners discussed further cooperation and the development of social partnership in Kazakhstan.
The parties emphasised the importance of constructive dialogue between workers’ and employers’ representatives amid a changing labour market. Particular importance was attached to reconciling the interests of both parties, preventing labour disputes, and jointly seeking solutions aimed at ensuring decent working conditions and the sustainable development of enterprises.
FTURK Chairman Satybaldy Dauletalin stressed that effective social partnership is one of the key mechanisms for protecting labour rights and achieving social justice.
In turn, Zhumabek Zhanykulov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Confederation of Employers “PARYZ”, highlighted the importance of cooperation with trade unions in shaping a modern system of labour relations and fostering a culture of social dialogue.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue working together to strengthen social partnership mechanisms, improve labour relations, and implement joint initiatives in the interests of workers and employers.
