Today in Astana, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The members of the Executive Committee considered issues of improving the activities of the FPRK.
Within the framework of the agenda, the issues of the «Roadmap» for the radical reform of the trade union movement in Kazakhstan were considered. As previously reported the “Road Map” sets new rules for promoting the principles of social justice and partnership, improving social and labor relations, strengthening and consolidating trade unions. It provides for the creation of a unified system of legal universal education in the country, the modernization of the work of the Republican Tripartite Commission (RTC), etc.
Also at the meeting was approved the Comprehensive Action Plan of the FPRK for 2018.
Within the framework of the meeting, it was decided to replace the authorized representatives of the trade-union side in the Republican Tripartite Commission (RTC) on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations.
One of the tasks facing the Federation this year will be the conduct of a financial and legal audit of Joint Stock Companies and LLPs that are part of the FPRK.
A number of personnel decisions were adopted at the meeting of the Executive Committee. In particular, the chairman of the Territorial Association of Trade Unions of the Aktubinsk region Turikpenbai Aizharykov was dismissed from his position in connection with the achievement of the retirement age. Altynbek Amirgaliyev who has been working in recent years as the head of the department for coordination of employment and social programs of the Aktobe region, the head of the region mayor’s office, was elected as the new Chairman of the Territorial Association of Trade Unions of the Aktobe oblast.
