Tatulasu Ortalygy will open in Kazakhstan (Reconciliation Centers)

On March 19 in Astana, the Memorandum on mutual cooperation between the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhakyp Asanov and the Chairman of the FPRK, Bakhytzhan Abdirayym

The parties concluded this Memorandum proceeding from the need to modernize the public consciousness within the framework of the «Rukhani zhangiru» program in resolving disputes and conflicts out of court in order to reduce conflict in the society.

Revolutionary in essence and innovative in content project for the establishment of Reconciliation Centers initiated by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan can subsequently make a significant contribution to the development of civil society in Kazakhstan.

The project forms a new philosophy of civil society interaction, designed to resolve disputes without resorting to judicial and law enforcement agencies. This tradition has its roots in the history of the Kazakh people and can play a consolidating role in the life of society.

The Memorandum provides for the opening of Reconciliation Centers based on territorial associations of trade unions of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The centers of reconciliation are aimed at empowering the population to solve labor and other disputes and conflicts through conciliatory procedures.

The parties agreed to cooperate on the issues of interaction and development of legislation on the regulation of disputes through conciliation procedures, training of persons providing services in the Center for Reconciliation and improving the quality of services.    Creation of centers is a necessary initiative of the Supreme Court, since it forms a new institution in the field of public relations, based on the practice of peaceful mediation of conflicts
