For the first time the trade union center of Astana City from 8 to 9 June 2018 held «I Inter-branch sports Festival of trade unions of Astana City” on volleyball, mini-football and table tennis in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana City and 113 anniversary of trade unions of Kazakhstan.
In sports battles took part teams of city structures of branch trade unions of entrepreneurship, education, building complex and housing and communal services, state institutions, railway men and management of culture and sports of Astana City.
At the festival opening ceremony a flash mob was organized in support of the sports initiative of the head of the State “Challenge another you!” and a concert with the participation of patriotic groups, as “Art-Tumar”, “Alash” and others.
Welcome speech was made by the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Abdіrayim, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abai Tasbulatov, Olympic champion Bakhtiyar Artaev who noticed the importance of holding such a large event for the health of participants, as well as for cohesion and healthy spirit in the collective as a whole and also wished to the festival participant good luck and fair victory.
At the end of the festival the best of the best were:
