A regular meeting of the Public Council of the city of Karaganda was held under the chairmanship of Kabdygali Ospanov with the participation of representatives of local state bodies, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and non-governmental organizations of Karaganda region.
The meeting considered the issue “Providing a set of measures aimed at increasing the participation of NGOs in the development of the public monitoring system”, with the support of the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the experience of the Public Council of Almaty was presented and the issue of the main issues of the activity of the Public Councils in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the improvement of the legislation on Public Councils, the expansion of the practice of exchanging positive experience in the implementation of the goals and objectives of the Council’s activities, as well as the financing of costs, composition of the Soviets and much more.
The meeting was attended by Abay Sabdenov, Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union Center of Karaganda Region, Altynay Kobaeva, Secretary, Alexander Bratenkov, Expert of the Public Council of Almaty.
