On August 23, 2018, the President of the State, Nursultan Nazarbayev, visited Atyrau on business trip. After being acquainted with the activities of industrial enterprises and social facilities, he noted the sustainable development of the region’s economy and social stability. At the chaired meeting on social and economic development of Atyrau region, the President emphasized the contribution of the population of Atyrau to the economy of independent Kazakhstan and gave a positive assessment of the work of the Akim of the region, Nurlan Nogayev. At the same time, Elbasy after hearing the chairman of the Trade union center of Atyrau region about the trade union movement in the region instructed trade union organizations to be the golden mean between employees and employers and to seek the coherence of the Parties.

This highest award is an achievement not only of two people, we consider it the property of all oil sphere. Thanks to your successful investment attraction policy, more than 300 foreign and Kazakhstani companies work in Tengiz, Kashagan and other fields today. 97, 3% of employees of these enterprises are Kazakhstan people, among them who studied in foreign and domestic educational institutions, young people who are fluent in three languages, work as engineers and occupy managerial positions on a par with the foreign specialists. In 700 institutions and enterprises, more than 100 thousand trade union members are counted. The Federation of Trade Unions is working in a new format, relations between employees and employers have improved. Young people are actively involved in the work.
