On September 18, 2018, the first conference of the Almaty Branch of the “SENIM” Branch Professional Union of Healthcare Workers was held in the conference hall of the Almaty City Trade-union Center, in which Dusenov S.S. – chairman of the Republican Public Association “Branch Trade Union of Health Workers “SENIM”, Umirbaeva Z.A – chairman of the territorial association of trade unions “Trade Union Center of Almaty”, heads of medical institutions of the city and delegates of the conference took part. The agenda of the conference includes the following issues: election of the chairman of the Almaty branch; election of the Board of the branch; election of the members of the Audit Commission.
Dyusenov S.S. – Chairman of the Republican Public Association “Branch Trade Union of Workers of the Healthcare System” SENIM ” – addressed with a salutatory word to the delegates and participants of the conference. Nurgaziyev Kuanysh Shadybaevich was unanimously elected to become the chairman of the Almaty branch of the Regional Industrial Union of Workers of the Healthcare System “SENIM”. Delegates of the trade union conference also elected members to the composition of the Council and the Audit Commission of the regional branch, all decisions were unanimously adopted.
The main activity of the established trade union association “SENIM” is to increase responsibility in regulating labor relations, effective protection of social and economic and labor rights and interests of people of wage labor, development of social partnership, improvement of organizational and financial work, increasing the responsibility of trade union personnel, active participation in the socio-political life of the country. In addition, ensuring the upgrading of the health worker’s status through the improvement and introduction of new forms of wages and remuneration.
