In the House of Trade Unions, a business meeting of Orazbek Bekbas, chairman of Kazakhstan’s industry trade union of power engineers, and Bolat Zhumabekov, chairman of the Trade Union Center of the Karaganda region, was held with the trade union of Karaganda energy companies workers.
Tatyana Mezentseva, chairperson of the public association “Local Trade Union of Workers of the Karaganda Energy Companies Group”, informed the leaders of the Industry Trade Union and those present about the work of the trade union organization, the preparation of a new version of the collective agreement for 2020, the strengthening of the role of the institute of public technical inspectors for labor protection at enterprises TPP-1 and TPP-3.
Orazbek Bekbas talked about the work of the Kazakhstan industry trade union on protecting the interests and rights of workers in the energy sector, fully revealed the role of trade union leaders in resolving social issues, the need for creation of production councils at the initiative of trade unions at Karaganda enterprises, and set before the trade union society a number of specific tasks for creating safe working conditions in the workplace.
Bolat Zhumabekov told about the forthcoming XXV Congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the results of the work of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan of September 21, a.c. on introducing amendments to the Statute and Regulations on the Revision Commission of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the results of the meeting, for the contribution to the development of the trade union movement, honorary diplomas of the Kazakhstan industry trade union of power engineers were given to Aigul Mikenova, deputy chief of the TED TPP-1, Nurmuhammed Baymukhanov, leading engineer of the TED TPP-3, Sergei Grigoriev – the shift manager of the TCC TPP-1, Kairat Bekishev – Gas cutter SCR TPP-3, Oksana Manko – custodian-storekeeper of TPP-1, Azamat Azilkhanov – repair engineer, Saltanat Nauryzbaeva – engineer-inspector TPP-3 and Vitaly Kostin – engineer-technologist of TPP-1.
