Trade unions of Kazakhstan expressed support for the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 6, 2018, a meeting of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan with heads of industrial trade unions and TATUs was held.

As the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Abdіrayim, noted: “Almost all aspects from the last Message of Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev are in direct contact with the activities of trade unions. We must be in the fair of modernization processes to improve the well-being of the lives of Kazakhstanis.

This is a precise and clear social program with real-world objectives and indicators, supported by funding and deadlines. It complements and strengthens the “5 social initiatives of the President,” announced in March of this year. In general, it is also focused on solving the problems of the least protected segments of the population. This is what awaits our society. ”

According to the FTURK Chairman, the first task of “GROWTH OF INCOMES OF THE POPULATION” is the most comprehensive, since the increase in the minimum wage by 1.5 times – from 28 to 42 thousand tenge, will affect 1 million 300 thousand Kazakhstanis.

The fact that now the minimum wage will not be tied to the subsistence minimum can be called a real breakthrough.

In the Federation of Trade Unions, they agree with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan that the new minimum wage will be the catalyst for the growth of wages in general across the economy.

The Chairman of the Industrial Union of Agricultural Workers Yegor Kappel, the Chairman of the Industrial Union of Culture, Sports and Information Workers Svetlana Imankulova and the Chairman of the Trade Union Center of Astana City Tastanbek Yesentayev were also at the meeting.

The assembled leaders of trade unions came to a unanimous opinion about the promptness of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and expressed confidence that the trade union movement will be one of the driving social forces in the implementation of the Message.
