With the support of the Trade Union Center of the Aktobe region and the regional branch of the SENIM health workers union, the Aktobe Higher Medical College named after the hero of the Soviet Union Manshuk Mametova held a sports and festive event dedicated to the Day of Persons with Disabilities under the motto “Strong spirit, dedicated to you!”.
In his welcoming speech, the Vice-Chairman of TOP Akbergenov Zh.A. noted the social importance of the event aimed at drawing attention to the problems of persons with disabilities, protecting their rights, ensuring well-being, involving their participation in the social, economic, cultural life of society. Participants of the event were also informed about the main directions of the Address of the Head of State and the need for the participation of every citizen of the country in its implementation.
The event was held in the Health Park, where students with disabilities of the Higher Medical College performed their own concert program, and also participated in such types of competitions as chess, checkers, togyz құmalaқ, table tennis, sprint, weight-lifting and so on. Letters and prizes were awarded to all participants and winners.
