During the meeting, the preliminary results of the republican seminar-meeting held on the eve with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the heads of local executive bodies and trade union activists of the years. Almaty and Astana. As the representatives of the ministries noted, this is the first meeting in this format, organized by any industry and dedicated to topical issues in the context of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayeva “Growth of the welfare of Kazakhstan: an increase in income and quality of life”

– We will continue to raise issues of raising wages to workers in our industry, especially increases in the base salary (BS), as this is a key issue for all professionals in the field of culture and sports. It is clear that everything depends on the budget, but we must look for solutions together with our social partners, seek funds, consider options for using the principles of the right of economic management (REM), as is now done in the health sector, – said Svetlana Imankulova, chairman of the Trade Union Union.

A very topical issue is the creation of a faculty on the basis of the Kazakh National University of Arts “Shabyt” and the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenova for circus workers who are forced to receive higher professional education outside of Kazakhstan.

The members of the Sectoral Commission stressed the importance of solving these issues in the very near future, which will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the sphere of culture and sports in our country and allow us to reach a new qualitative level in the system of social and labor relations and achievements in the professional field.
