The first meeting of the Expert Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan

Today in Astana, the first meeting of the Expert Council (EC) of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan was held.

Deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Mansurkhan Makhambetov and Darkhan Mynbayev, Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Education and Innovations Serpin Murat Abenov, President of the Public Foundation “Republic. Region. Development” Galym Baituk, Director of the Scientific Center at the IGRGR RK“ Youth” Talgat Kaliyev, Director of the Center for Applied Research“ Talap” Rakhim Oshakbayev, etc.

According to the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bagytzhan Abdіrayim, the Expert Council was created to organize work on obtaining competent opinions from the expert community and developing proposals for improving the activities of trade unions, authorized bodies in accordance with standards and international practices of decent work, quality of the workplace, productive employment, poverty eradication strengthening the capacity of primary organizations, as well as developing proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, affecting the interests of the trade union movement “The activities of the Expert Council are aimed at ensuring the practical interaction of trade unions with all sectors of civil society,” said Bagytzhan Abdirayim.

At the meeting of the Council there were interesting proposals on the effectiveness of the development of the trade union system. Murat Abenov offered media assistance to the Enbek-info resource framework.

There were proposals to include the members of the Expert Council in the work of sectoral trade unions, which would give openness to their work.

According to Talgat Kaliyev, the most unprotected category of workers are civil servants, who often recycle at work, which negatively affects many aspects of life.

Rahim Oshakbayev paid attention to the payroll of teachers and degrading duties that are imposed on them in addition to the workload. In addition, he stressed the material gap between workers and functionaries of sectoral trade unions.

The chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bagytzhan Abdiraiym, invited members of the Expert Council to the next meeting of the Executive Committee of the RFPF.

As a result of the work of the Expert Council, rational proposals will be developed for specific events, legislative initiatives and measures to improve the activities of the trade union movement of Kazakhstan.
