Today in Astana, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between the Republican public association “Organization of Veterans” and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On behalf of the parties, the Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Central Council of the PRO “Organization of Veterans” Baktykozha Izmukhambetov and the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhytzhan Abdіrayim. The memorandum was concluded within the framework of the implementation of the Strategy “Kazakhstan-2050”, the third modernization of Kazakhstan and the program article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev “Looking into the future: the modernization of public consciousness”. The memorandum provides for the active joint participation of veterans and trade union organizations in the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, improving the quality of working life, and fostering patriotism of working youth. The parties agreed to jointly develop socially significant measures using effective methods of social and labor regulation, to participate in the prevention of labor disputes in enterprises and to develop negotiating skills in labor disputes arising between the employer and the employer. The parties also agreed to participate in meetings on industrial safety and labor protection at enterprises and organizations to work together on labor protection, occupational injuries and prevention of occupational diseases. The Organization of Veterans and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan plan to participate in the development and improvement of the system of prevention and resolution of labor conflicts and social emergencies. Participation in the organization and conduct of reconciliation procedures and the study of the existing practice of resolving individual labor disputes and making recommendations for resolving them are also areas of joint cooperation. The parties have agreed that this Memorandum may include joint plans, programs, projects, agreements, protocols, resolutions and other relevant documents. In addition, the signed Memorandum is intended to unite efforts to increase the level of social protection of older workers and labor veterans.
