As we reported earlier, the work of the Congress of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) continues in Copenhagen, where the election of the new ITUC General Secretary took place.
The current Secretary General Sherron Barrow and Sussana Comusso from Italy claimed this post.
A total of 777 delegates were allowed to vote, representing 244 member organizations (106 million union members) of which 52% voted for Sharron Barrow.
