On December 11 of the current year, the meeting of the Chairman of the Committee for Social and Economic Relations and Social Partnership of FTURK S. Dauletalin with the director of the Labor Inspectorate of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova E.Carcilan took place in the building of the Trade Union Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The issues of prevention of occupational injuries and occupational diseases, strengthening of public control over compliance with labor legislation were discussed. An exchange of views took place on the development of further cooperation and continued cooperation between the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova in the field of occupational safety and health.
Elena Karkilan expressed appreciation for the invitation and participation at the workshop of technical inspectors for occupational safety of FTURK on the basis of Aksu Ferroalloy Plant.
“- Seeing with my own eyes how Kazakhstani employers and trade unions work, what they do to improve the working conditions of workers, to familiarize themselves with the practice of technical inspectors, this is a very valuable experience confirming their commitment to ILO standards and values”, she stressed.
Health and safety issues are constantly in the focus of attention of the Federation of Trade Unions.
This year, a number of activities were carried out to intensify work on the creation of production councils for SLP, as well as information campaigns and practical events on SLP at enterprises.
