A meeting of the regional tripartite commission of Almaty on employment issues was held on the 16th of January. This meeting was chaired by E.Aukenov, the Deputy Mayor of Almaty, . The meeting was also attended by the Acting Director of the Population Employment Center of Almaty – D. Abuov, the Deputy Head of the Education Management Office of Almaty –L.Zhylybayeva, the Deputy Chairman of the Trade Unions’ Territorial Association in Almaty –A. Nesipkaliyev as well as representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty called Atameken.
The report of D. Abuov included a list of educational organizations and professions for short-term vocational training for young people under the age of 29, as well as for the unemployed and the self-employed. Additionally, the composition of the mobile group on the formation of a list of applicants for training with VET (technical and vocational education) was affirmed there. The meeting participants discussed the issue of affirming the list of educational institutions and specialties for training specialists with technical and vocational education for the 2019–2020 academic year, according to the State Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017–2021 called “Enbek”. At the end of the meeting, the participants were given a number of instructions on the need for further work with educational organizations.
