The Memorandum of mutual cooperation between the Military Court of Karaganda Garrison and the Trade Union Center of Karaganda Region was signed in the House of Trade Unions.
The main purpose of the Memorandum is to strengthen cooperation in the comprehensive development and implementation of pre-trial and out-of-court settlement of legal disputes and conflicts, which help reduce the level of conflicts and create a favorable legal environment.
Aidar Isabekov, Chairman of the Military Court of Karaganda Garrison spoke about the work carried out within the framework of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Mediation”, and also noted that signing of the Memorandum is an important step for the development of the mediation institution in the judicial system and expressed confidence in the promising cooperation.
Bolat Zhumabekov, Chairman of the Territorial Association of Trade Unions, informed those present that since the start of the Conciliation Center at the Trade Union Center of Karaganda region, 85 complaints were received, including those on family conflicts — 36, labor disputes — 13, housing issues — 12.
Earlier, at the meeting of the Coordinating Council of Trade Unions’ Territorial Structures of the region, the Regulations and Work Plan of the Conciliation Center for 2019 were approved.
Representatives of both the Military Court and the Trade Union Center agreed to cooperate on issues of increasing the possibilities for resolving labor and other disputes through conciliation procedures. Special attention will be paid to the improvement of legislation, the exchange of information, other aspects of the development of mediation and other forms of out-of-court resolution of conflicts.
