The opening сeremony of the «KELESHEK» Youth Trade Union Camp took place at the “Kosmonavt” recreation center in Temirtau.
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in his Message to the People of Kazakhstan, “Growing the Welfare of Kazakhstanis: Improving Incomes and the Quality of Life,” declared 2019 the Year of Youth.
In order to create a platform for discussing current social and economic problems of youth of the Karaganda region, the Youth Council “Keleshek” at the Territorial Association of Trade Unions “Trade Union Center of Karaganda Region”, with the participation of KSU “Youth Resource Center of Karaganda Region” organized a camp.
Within the framework of the youth program for all participants, a tour of the Historical and Cultural Center of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan located in the city of Temirtau was organized.
Bolat Zhumabekov, Chairman of the Trade Union Center of Karaganda Region, Member of the Political Council of the Regional Branch of the Nur Otan Party, Anatoly Baranov, Second Secretary of the Karaganda Regional Committee of the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan, Akzhol Kurmanseitov, Director of Karaganda Youth Resource Center, participated in the grand opening of the youth camp. Zhanat Samenov, Deputy Chairman of the Public Union “The Branch Professional Union of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises activities and related industries «Kasipkorgan”, Margarita Bikmukhametova – Chairman of the Temirtau City Committee of Karaganda Regional Organization of the Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union of Education and Science.
Bolat Zhumabekov noted that this event in the camp format is being held as part of the implementation of the Roadmap for the modernization of the Trade Union Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2019 in terms of the development of “Open minded” thinking among working and student youth, susceptibility to innovation, striving for new knowledge and technologies. More than 100 representatives of working and student youth became participants of the field camp.
