On April 5, 2019, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova and Minister of labor and social protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berdybek Saparbayev visited Ekibastuz GRES-1 during a working trip to Pavlodar region. B. Nurzhanova.
At Ekibastuz GRES-1, a meeting was held with the participation of akim of the region Bulat Bakauov, akims of cities and districts, chairmen of industry, local, primary trade Union organizations, heads of large enterprises and business structures.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Gulshara Abdykalikova noted that the main purpose of her working trips to the enterprises of different regions of the country is to improve the working conditions of Kazakhstan. Addressing the employers, Deputy Prime Minister G. Abdykalykova highlighted 4 aspects that should be in the sphere of close attention. She paid special attention to the issues of timely payment of wages, avoiding delays; to exclude cases of industrial injuries; to strengthen the social responsibility of business; to develop social partnership; special attention should be paid to large and poor families.
Minister of labor and social protection B. Saparbayev was instructed to increase the minimum wage at all enterprises of Pavlodar region. In the Pavlodar region in 2018 there were 118 cases of industrial injuries; 44.4 thousand workers are employed in harmful working conditions. Now the information company “Safe work” is begun; the Road map on reduction of traumatism is developed.
The speaker noted the positive practice of concluding 6 352 collective agreements in Pavlodar region.
Special attention was paid to the interests of large workers without housing. Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov in his speech said that by the end of 2019 these families will be provided with housing.
Work to improve the quality of collective agreements, increase social guarantees and zero injuries will continue.
