The Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan supports early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated by the Head of state K. Tokayev.
The Federation of trade unions held an extraordinary extended meeting of the Executive Committee of the Federation of trade unions of Kazakhstan, during which the issue of early presidential elections in Kazakhstan was discussed.
The meeting was attended by the heads of FPRK, trade unions and major primary trade Union organizations.
The participants of the meeting unanimously expressed support for the initiative of the Head of state, appealing to the socially responsible forces of the country to support the holding of fair, open elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan that meet all international norms and standards.

The Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan supports early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated by the President K. Tokayev.
The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a universal mechanism of the political process in the country, which ensures the unity and coordinated interaction of the branches of state power, the strengthening of constitutional legality, the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms.
The evolution of the political system of our country is a natural process of formation, development and deepening of Kazakhstan’s Independence. In this context, the Presidential elections in the country are an integral part of the civil liberties of the entire population.
We are confident that Kazakhstan should continue the course of priority social development and a balanced socio-political process aimed at improving the well-being of citizens and society.
We are aware that there are still many issues to be addressed in relation to the rights of workers, the creation of an enabling environment for quality work, as well as in the area of effective social partnership.
Of course, this responsible mission should be solved in conditions of stability, predictability and transparency, with the popularly elected President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We call on all socially responsible, progressive forces of the country to support the conduct of honest, open, consistent with all international norms and standards of elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan!
