24 April in the city of Nur the Sultan held a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Executive Committee considered the issue of reducing occupational injuries and ensuring safe working conditions at enterprises. Erik Nurakayev, Chairman of the territorial Union of trade unions “trade Union Center of North Kazakhstan region”, presented information on this issue on the example of North Kazakhstan region.
Today, MSE is valid 1103 works councils, among them, 735 (or 66,6%) — initiated by the trade unions. They exercise control 927 technical labour inspector. However, only 92 (or 12.5%) production councils have been established in the enterprises of the real sector of the economy.
Since the beginning of 2019, 5 production councils have been established in the primary trade Union organizations of the region, in which 7 technical inspectors on labor protection (Club of national equestrian sports “Tulpar”, DYUSSH of Kyzylzhar district of SKO, LLP “Kyzylzhar su”, SCCP “Manger-garden “Balausa”, JSC “Plant them.S. M. Kirov”).
Technical inspectors on labour safety in production, the Soviets carried out huge work to prevent industrial injuries. Thus, in 2018, they conducted 4398 inspections, during which 11 852 violations in the field of safety and labor protection were revealed, of which 11 700 violations or 98.7% were eliminated, 386 proposals were sent to improve the conditions and safety in the organization, of which 376 were executed, 174 machines, machines, equipment and 3 workplaces that do not meet the safety and labor protection requirements were suspended.
Within the framework of the Executive Committee were considered the issues of approval of the Charter of the territorial Union of trade unions of Nur Sultan in the new edition and coordination of the Regulations on the Coordination Council of representatives of territorial structures of trade unions of the capital and its composition and other issues.
