On may 17, 2019, the Territorial Union of trade unions of Kostanay region held a conference of trade Union activists “Territory of opportunities”.
The forum was attended by presidential candidate Amangeldi Taspikhov, Deputy head of the Republican public election headquarters, Chairman of the Trade Union of employees of state, banking institutions Mirbolat Zhakypov and Deputy Chairman of the Federation of trade unions, Chairman of the Trade Union of agricultural workers Egor Kappel, Chairman of the trade Center of Kostanay region Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva, as well as members of the trade Union movement of the region.
In his speech to the participants, the candidate spoke about his biography, work in the trade Union Association and his election platform based on the basic ideas of the trade Union movement.
The main message of the platform Amangeldi Taspikhov is to protect the interests of workers, including increasing wages, compliance with labor legislation by employers, safe working conditions and regulation of labor migration.
Labour safety issues are of particukar concern.
Amangeldi Taspikhov emphasized that every year more than two hundred workers die in the production. In addition, every year only state inspectors revealed up to 10 thousand violations of labor legislation.
Employers have 2 billion tenge of wage arrears to their employees.
As A. Taspikhov stressed, an important step in this direction is to strengthen the measures of administrative and criminal liability of employers who violate the labor and constitutional rights of ordinary workers.
Deputy head of the Republican public election headquarters Mirbolat Zhakypov and Deputy Chairman of the Federation of trade unions Yegor Kappel spoke about the highlights of the biography of A. Taspikhov and his professional and social achievements, also called to support the candidate A. Taspikhov in the upcoming elections.
During the conference, modern measures of social support of workers, measures of improvement of the labor market, modern mechanisms of management of the labor safety system and other topical issues were discussed.
The organizers of the conference thanked all those present for participating in the conference called on citizens to show active citizenship in the upcoming elections.
It was noted that the participation in the election of the candidate from the Federation of trade unions Amangeldi Taspikhov – is to protect the interests of all workers, their families, relatives and friends.
