During the visit to Atyrau regional clinical hospital, the participants discussed the key areas of the election platform of candidate Amangeldi Taspikhov and the priorities of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Amangeldi Taspikhov paid special attention to the issue of protecting the rights of medical workers, ensuring safe working conditions, decent pay and increasing the prestige of the profession. As noted, every year about 300 thousand Kazakh doctors temporarily leave work because of the sick leave.
The chief doctor of the hospital told the delegates about the activities of the institution and conducted a tour of the building, also demonstrating the material and technical equipment of the medical institution.
Atyrau regional hospital, opened in 1967, today is the main medical and preventive institution of the region, with a capacity of 400 beds. The medical institution provides highly specialized medical care, with outpatient care for 120 visits per shift.
During the meeting, health workers noted an important treasure of the Union in defense of the rights of medical workers, including measures to support mothers with many children.
