Deputy Minister of labor and social protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sarbasov Akmadi adilovich made a speech at the meeting.
The report notes that Kazakhstan supports the main recommendations of the Report of the Global Commission on the future of work.
In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the ILO’s internal procedures for the ratification of ILO Convention 175 “Of the work on conditions of incomplete working time”.
Currently, Kazakhstan is taking systematic measures to expand opportunities to improve the quality of work. The main indicators of the labor market show stable positive dynamics.
At the same time, a number of challenges facing the sphere of labor were identified. The first challenge is related to the development of digitalization and technologies such as industry 4.0, artificial intelligence and robotics.
The second challenge is based on demographic changes in the structure of the labour force. The third challenge is related to the development of new forms of labor relations. Globalization and technological progress are leading to the development of new, more flexible forms of employment.
In the report of the Vice-Minister of labor and social protection of population of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. A. Sarbasov also outlined a number of measures that are implemented in the framework of the relevant programmes.
