SOCIAL STABILITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTION

Expansion of dialogue and further development of the system of social partnership, collective and contractual regulation of labor relations, improvement of safety and labor protection conditions, preservation of stability and sustainable development of production became the main subject of discussion of social partners in the oil and gas industry with the participation of KAZMUNAYGAZPROF.

The regular meeting of the Sectoral Commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations of the oil and gas industry was held in Nur-Sultan on June 28 this year under the chairmanship of Vice-Minister of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan asset Magauov (hereinafter – The industry Commission), which was attended by members of the Commission: the Sultan Kaliev, Chairman KAZMUNAJGAZA, heads of local trade unions of workers of JSC “Mangistaumunaigas” Targan Musambaev, JSC “KazTransGas” Zauresh Makhanova, the company “Karachaganak petroleum operating B. V.” Mars Khairullin, and head of staff of branch trade Union Hairan Takuov.

The industry Commission discussed the activities of the Working group on the development of an Industry agreement in the oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2022, information of the Kazakhstan Institute of oil and gas on the current situation on the development of industry qualifications framework and professional standards in the oil and gas industry. The parties to the social partnership agreed to continue joint work on the development and adoption of the Sectoral agreement in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

During the meeting, the Industry Commission discussed the work of the national company “KazMunaiGas” and LLP “Tengizchevroil” to prevent labor conflicts and ensure safe working conditions, reduce industrial injuries. Managing Director for human resources management of JSC NC “KazMunaiGas” Dauletzhan Khasanov and Deputy Director General for human resources Management of LLP “Tengizchevroil” Sholpan Altybaeva informed the members of the Commission about the measures taken by the companies on the discussed issue of the agenda, answered all questions and noted the relevance of further cooperation and joint work of employers and trade unions to maintain stability and sustainable development of production.

With information on the current situation in the labour collectives of companies, trade unions which are a part of KAZMUNAJGAZA as membership organizations made the Sultan Kaliev, Chairman of the branch Union. He noted a stable situation in all companies, systematic and purposeful work of the management and elected officials KAZMUNAJGAZA and its member organisations for the improvement of the conditions of payment, safety and labor protection, strengthening of public control over the implementation of labor laws, preserve stability and prevent labor conflicts.
