Dear friends, protecting the rights of workers is not just a word — it is a big struggle, I know it, because I worked as the mayor of Istanbul and Prime Minister of Turkey — the problems of workers are known to me firsthand.”— said the President of Turkey.

In addition, Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that despite international pressure, Turkey shows economic growth and sustainable development in recent years, becoming the 13th economy in the world. Currently, the government together with business plans to open additional 2.3 million jobs in Turkey.

“We have made a big step forward and we hope to achieve even greater goals in the future,” Erdogan said. In addition, the President of Turkey expressed concern about the pressure on trade Union leaders in the regions where the elections were won by the opposition, noting that it is unacceptable to prosecute workers and Union members for their political beliefs.
