Today in Nur Sultan in the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan a meeting of the General Council was held.
At a meeting of the General Council, the head of the FPRK Bakytzhan Abdyrayim resigned as Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with the transfer to another job.
Thanking his colleagues for their joint work, trust, hard work and initiative, he expressed confidence that the Federation of Trade Unions will be at the forefront of work to increase the welfare of the people and create new opportunities to improve the quality of life of Labor Man.
It was noted that over the years, the Federation of Trade Unions confidently took coordinated, adequate to the challenges of the time measures to protect labor rights and interests of workers, which allowed to form a trade union movement of a new formation and bring key areas of the social and labor sphere to a qualitatively new level.
The achievements of the trade unions during this period were highly appreciated by Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, who at the extraordinary XXV Congress of the FPRK noted that the Trade Union Federation should become the driving force for the social adaptation of Kazakhstan to the new conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The members of the General Council proposed 2 candidates for the post of Chairperson of the FPRK – the well-known political figure Yerala Tugzhanov and the chairman of the Kazakhstan Industrial Trade Union of Railway, Automobile, Air and Water Transport Workers Orazgali Akhmetbaev.
As a result of the vote, which was held in accordance with the Charter of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Eraly Tuganzhan was elected Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on an alternative basis.
REFERENCE: Tugzhanov Eraly Lukpanovich in different years served as deputy chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also worked in senior positions in the regions of Kazakhstan.
