The Youth Council “KELESHEK” participated in the Tursynbek Kabatov’s challenge #Bizbirgemiz that was supported by the president of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.
Members of the “KELESHEK” Youth Council at the Trade Union Center of the Karaganda Region, in the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, laid the foundation for the implementation of good deeds and launched the campaign “Youth appreciation for peace.” Today, after heavy snowfalls, representatives of the young generation took up snow removal on the territory of private houses of widows of participants in the Great Patriotic War, Kainash apay and Alfiya Bikenova.
Kaynash apay is the wife of Kappas Tusupov – Honorary Citizen of the city of Karaganda and Honorary Miner, who was drafted into the Soviet Army in 1942, and who fought in Transbaikalia, the Far Eastern Front. He was awarded the orders of World War II (I and II degrees) medals “For the victory over Germany”, and “For the victory over Japan.”
Alfiya Bikenova is the wife of Kabesh Bikenov, Honorary Citizen of the city of Karaganda, and a colonel who began his military career as a cadet of the Tashkent Military Infantry School of the Soviet Army, and as the clerk of a company of eight guards airborne brigades of the Moscow and Belorussian military districts. The honored widows spoke warmly, with tears in their eyes about their heroes. They expressed parting words to the younger generation, and thanked the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the snow removal help by the Youth Council.
Currently, 75 participants of the Second World War and 9,108 workers of the rear services of the war years live in the Karaganda region. Therefore, if we sincerely remember and are grateful to them for the Victory, a peaceful sky shall be above our heads. It our duty and honor to provide all possible assistance and be near at hand whenever we are needed.
Upon completion of snow removal, members of the “KELESHEK” Youth Council organized a coffee break and watched a movie. Representatives of trade Union of workers of education and science, the national trade Union of workers of small and medium business “YNTYMAQ” and trade Union of health workers “SENIM” also took an active part in this noble cause.
