The second day of the participants of the republican trade union project “30 Enbek Elshisi” in the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan continued with a rich program of a series of training events and meetings with trade union leaders, as well as prominent experts in the social and labor sphere.
Youth professional leaders took part in the training seminar “Fundamentals of labor legislation”.
Deputy Director of the organizational control work of the FPRK Lyazzat Eszhanova, speaking as a trainer of the seminar, spoke in detail about the key changes and additions to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as about the practice of applying labor legislation and the legal basis for the work of trade union organizations.
The participants of the training got acquainted with the most common violations of labor legislation and trade union mechanisms for protecting the rights of employees using concrete examples from practice.
Within the framework of the coaching sessions, the chairman of the Branch Trade Unions of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan addressed the young professional leaders with words of parting words to the chairman of the Branch Trade Union of Workers of the Construction Complex and Housing and Communal Services Kusein Yesengazin and the chairman of the Branch Trade Union of Small and Medium-sized Businesses “YNTYMAQ” Kairakbay Zhanabekov.
The speakers expressed their congratulations to the winners of the FPRK youth project, noting the importance of their new mission in the light of popularizing the activities of the trade union movement.
“The ranks of trade unions are replenished with active, progressive, creative, talented young people. Such young people are the future of trade unions. It is very important to lay a solid foundation to continue building a strong trade union. It is for this purpose that we have gathered here 30 young professional leaders from all regions of the country, so that in the future they will broadcast trade union values and promote ideas to protect the interests of the Working Person,” said Kusein Yesengazin.
Kairakbay Zhanabekov, in turn, focused on the goals and objectives of the Federation of Trade Unions, as well as on initiatives to develop the youth movement of the FPRK.
“The activities of trade union organizations are an important tool in improving social and labor relations. The main task of trade unions is to defend the rights and legitimate interests of workers. Understanding the importance of work is a necessary attribute of a society where a Person of work should occupy the highest status. I am sure that together we will achieve the goals set out in the Strategy of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025,” he said.
The participants and winners of the project “30 Enbek Elshisi” expressed their gratitude for the support of working youth and the active involvement of young professional leaders in the activities of trade unions.
Meanwhile, during the meeting of the Youth Council of the FPRK “Keleshek”, the winners of the project “30 Enbek Elshisi” jointly developed a plan for its implementation.
The project will be implemented in five areas: decent working conditions, healthy workplaces, legal literacy, soft-skills development, and trade union organizer. In each area, a number of activities are planned, providing for extensive awareness-raising throughout the country.
A lively discussion took place during the training “Personal Brand”, the speaker of which was the head of the social workshop “Green TAL” and the founder of the school of social entrepreneurship Emin Askerov.
Emin Askerov presented to the participants the practical basics of building a personal brand, told how a personal brand affects the personal growth of a young leader, and also shared his experience as a social entrepreneur.
At the end of the meetings, the participants enthusiastically shared their impressions of the events held.
“Within the framework of the project of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan “30 Enbek Elshisi”, trainings were held on the topics “Trade Union Organizing” on the basics of labor legislation, “Personal Brand” and received useful, reliable information. In an open dialogue, we discussed the necessary qualities of a trade union leader, analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the participants, “said Aizhan Taubebayeva, chairman of the Youth Council of the” Keleshek ” Trade Union Center of the Karaganda region.
“The project” 30 Enbek Elshisi”, initiated by the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is an unprecedented measure of support and development of working youth.
