On May 17, 2021, the City signed an agreement on social partnership between the Mayor’s Office, the Trade Union Center and representatives of employers of Nur-Sultan for 2021-2023.
The document was signed by Deputy Akim Nurlan Soltambekov, Chairman of the Trade Union Center Tolegen Kunadilov and representative of the National Confederation of Employers (Entrepreneurs) of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan Nelly Tverdovskaya.
The city Agreement is based on the key provisions of the General Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the republican associations of employees and the republican associations of employers for 2021-2023.
Within the framework of the Agreement, the social partners reached an agreement on strengthening cooperation in the main areas of regulation of social and labor relations.
The parties express their intention to join efforts in improving the quality of life of employees, creating conditions for the full realization of labor rights, as well as the settlement of collective labor disputes and conflicts, improving the current procedure for their resolution, as well as developing the practice of collective-contractual regulation of social and labor relations in the organizations of the city.
Meanwhile, for the first time, the City Agreement includes norms on taking measures to create production councils for safety and labor protection at enterprises and organizations of the city; organizing training on safety and labor protection for members of the Production Council, including technical inspectors for labor protection in organizations.
Among the new provisions of the Agreement, the social partners also noted the development of joint steps to include in collective agreements or in acts of employers the norms of annual indexation of employees ‘ wages taking into account inflation.
An important innovation in the light of social partnership is also the norms that provide for the creation and implementation of a labor protection management system in organizations, taking into account the interstate standard GOST 12.0.230-2007.
Following the signing of the Agreement, the parties expressed their readiness to actively participate in its implementation.
