THE EDUCATIONAL MARATHON OF THE FEDERATION OF TRADE UNIONS CONTINUED ITS WORK IN THE KARAGANDA REGION

Within the framework of the educational online marathon of the Federation of Trade Unions, a training seminar was held with the participation of trade union activists of the Karaganda region.

The seminar program includes a course of lectures on topical issues of the application of labor legislation, the organization of trade union work and the negotiation process.

Welcoming the participants, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Uteshev noted the importance of forming a high professional level of professional assets and trade union members in the field of protecting the interests of employees.

He highlighted that the issues of professional development are one of the priority areas of the Federation of Trade Unions in the light of the implementation of the “In unity to justice and development” FTURK Strategy.

The Deputy Chairman of the FTURK told the audience in detail about the new health and educational project of the Federation of Trade Unions ” Get treated and learn!”.

“The project is aimed at ensuring the availability of health and training services for trade union members. The educational and health project was launched in a pilot mode on the basis of the rehabilitation center “Adal Niet Astana” in the city of Nur-Sultan. We plan to spread this experience in the future in trade union health resorts. For ten days in the center, a trade union member gets access to high – tech rehabilitation services and a wide range of wellness services, while combining rest with advanced training,” Nurlan Uteshev said.

Deputy Director of the Department of Organizational and Control Work of the Federation of Trade Unions Lyazzat Eszhanova gave an overview of the practice of applying labor legislation at the seminar.

The speaker spoke about the practice of legislative regulation of labor relations, the basics of legal activity of trade unions and mechanisms for strengthening social partnership.

Using concrete examples, she talked about a number of serious legal consequences of illegal labor relations.

In turn, the head of the department of the SEE and the FTURK JS Committee Aizhan Ibraeva, elaborated on the key points of the development of social partnership. She presented the technology for developing a collective agreement and the mechanisms for its implementation.

The head of the Department of Legal Support and International Cooperation of the FTURK Timur Nugmanov in his speech focused on the latest changes and additions made to the labor legislation including on the issues of vaccination of employees and remote work.

In conclusion, the participants of the seminar summed up the practical value of the presented material and thanked for the active implementation of educational projects of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
