On the eve of the celebration of the Day of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan, the opening of the Front Office of the Federation of Trade Unions took place.
The opening ceremony was attended by the winners of the Republican contest “The best primary trade union Organization” and the project “30 ambassadors of Labor”, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament, as well as professional leaders and activists of the trade union movement.
The start of the work of the front office was given by the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin.
“One of the values proclaimed in the Strategy of the FTURK activity is openness in the work of trade unions. An open Front Office is our next step towards ordinary union members. The 24/7 format of the trade union Legal clinic “Zan Cliniqys” will provide effective legal support to employees. Within the framework of the Front Office, the youth coworking center “Enbek Space” started working today, contributing to the discovery of the potential of working youth,” the head of the FTURK stressed.
On the opening day of the Front Office, the first reception of citizens was held by Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva and First Deputy Chairman of the FTURK Mukhtar Tinikeev.
The guests are also presented with new project offices – the Reconciliation Center “Tatylasy Point” and the Training Center of the FTURK “Bilim Center”.
Representatives of trade union organizations highly appreciated the communication capabilities of the Front Office for ordinary union members.
“We have grown wings today. Today we have seen that the modern face of trade unions and the format of the Federation’s work is an example of an effective solution to the problems of ordinary workers. We in the regions should adopt this experience and with your support we will be able to eradicate the exploitation of workers at production enterprises,” said Kulipa Yerimbetova, chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Merken Cheese Factory.
Alibek Sattarov, Deputy Chairman of the Branch Trade Union of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Information Workers, noted the importance of the Front Office’s activities in further strengthening the relationship between primary trade union organizations, branch trade unions and the Federation as a whole.
“The interaction of all links of the trade union system is the main principle, which is defined in the Trade Union Development Strategy. We are all one Federation. The opening of a single Front office is evidence of our unity,” Alibek Sattarov stressed.
The chairman of the primary trade union organization of School №198 named after Zh.Nurmanov of the Kyzylorda region Bayan Akimbayeva thanked the leadership of the FTURK for the measures taken to create decent working conditions and protect the rights of ordinary workers.
“The trade union is not New Year’s bags. A trade union is an effective legal defense. With the opening of the Front Office, we have the opportunity to receive prompt qualified legal assistance,” Bayan Akimbayeva stressed.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the FTURK congratulated the visitors of the Front Office on the Day of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan, noting that the support of primary trade union organizations will continue.
“Primary trade union organizations should know that they are not alone. There is a two-million army of the Federation of Trade Unions behind them. And we, for our part, intend to continue protecting the rights and interests of the Labor Man at the highest level of social partnership,” assured Satybaldy Dauletalin.
