A regular meeting of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, during which topical issues of trade union work were considered.
During the meeting, the Executive Committee decided to convene the General Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will meet on December 24, 2021.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tinikeyev submitted the agenda of the General Council of the FTURK to the participants, which were unanimously supported by the members of the Executive Committee.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Executive Committee, members of the General Council will summarize the activities of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Directorate for Asset Management and the Audit Commission of the FTURK for 2021.
It is also planned to define the tasks of the Federation of Trade Unions for the coming year, reflected in the Comprehensive Plan of the main activities of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the budget of the Federation of Trade Unions for 2022.
Along with this, the members of the General Council will discuss the creation of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian countries.
The agenda of the General Council also provides for consideration of the Code of Ethics of a Trade union Employee, the composition of the General Council of the FTURK and the rotation of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions.
Within the framework of the Executive Committee meeting, the Director of the Corporate Fund Daria Khamitzhanova informed the members of the Executive Committee about the results of the work of the Kazakhstan Enbek Adami Corporate Fund.
According to her, the Foundation’s activities are aimed at organizing research, information and explanatory work with the population, developing and implementing educational programs, conducting all types of sociological research in the social and labor sphere, etc.
The Foundation has implemented such socially significant initiatives as the nationwide project “Birgemiz: Bilim” to provide volunteer assistance in teaching secondary school students in rural areas, volunteer assistance in finding relatives of Kazakhstani soldiers who died during the Second World War and buried in military cemeteries of the Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation, a charity event to help flood victims residents of the Maktaaral district of Turkestan region, as well as the social project “QAMQOR QAZAQSTAN”.
According to Daria Khamitzhanova, the Development Strategy of СF “KEA” for 2021-2023 will be developed next year. In addition, the Foundation will continue to implement social projects and actively participate in social and cultural events.
According to the agenda, the members of the Executive Committee of the FTURK approved the initiative of the Asset Management Directorate of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of mechanisms for the effective use of the hotel complexes of Oskementurist LLP, Pavlodarturist JSC and Kostanay Tourist LLP.
Along with this, the Executive Committee decided to provide financial assistance to the veteran of the trade union movement.
