Promotion of physical culture and mass sports as an important factor in the formation of a healthy lifestyle among employees of oil and gas enterprises of the country, strengthening of corporate spirit and cohesion of labor collectives are the most important component in the activities of KAZMUNAYGAZPROF member organizations.
In Almaty on May 26-27 of this year, the Public Association “Kazakhstan Branch Professional Union of the Oil and Gas Complex” (hereinafter – KAZMUNAYGAZPROF) held a Republican volleyball tournament among 40+ veterans, “KMGPROF CUP 2022”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of JSC “National Company “KazMunayGas” and “Year of Social Partnership” of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the sports complex of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, veterans of physical culture and sports, volleyball fans of 9 leading oil, gas and oil and gas transportation companies gathered for the competition for the prestigious trade union trophy: joint-stock companies “QazaqGaz”, “Mangistaumunaigaz”, “Karazhanbasmunai”, “PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources”, limited liability partnerships “Tengizchevroil”, JV “KazGerMunai”, “Asian Gas Pipeline”, “Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant” and the branch “Research and Development Center of JSC “KazTransOil”.
The main goal of the organizers of the KMGPROF CUP 2022 volleyball tournament was achieved – oil and gas workers, participants of the competition as part of their national teams demonstrated high corporate spirit, organization and enviable sportsmanship, tactical and technical diversity, determination and will to win.
At the opening of the trade union tournament, sports veterans and employees of oil and gas enterprises, heads of sports delegations were congratulated by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of KAZMUNAYGAZPROF Sultan Kaliyev, who noted the importance for oil and gas industry workers of promoting and forming a healthy lifestyle, developing physical culture and mass sports. He wished uncompromising and honest wrestling, unity and cohesion to all participants of the competition.
Speaking at the opening of the competition, Sultan Kaliyev, Chairman of the organizing committee of the competition, noted that this tournament is a vivid example of the commitment of the management and trade unions of oil and gas industry enterprises to create favorable conditions for physical culture and sports, the formation of corporate spirit and cohesion of labor collectives. The parties to the social partnership actually demonstrate the viability of constructive cooperation and joint interaction aimed, first of all, at preserving the health and safety of every person’s life.”
Volleyball teams of veteran oil and gas workers determined the champion and prize-winners of the sports derby in persistent duels. An experienced and cohesive team of veterans of Tengizchevroil LLP (Atyrau), led by its captain Dosan Tyulebayev, recognized as “Uzdik shabuylshy” (the best striker) of the competition, became the deserved winner of the Republican tournament and the owner of the “KAZMUNAYGAZPROF CUP”, gold medals. Alpamys Mansurov, the coach of the TCO team, was awarded a special prize, diploma and a nominal pennant in the nomination “Best Coach”.
A worthy winner of silver medals, a tournament Cup, a pennant and a diploma was the volleyball squad of gas workers of Asian Gas Pipeline LLP (Almaty), which, under the leadership of the team captain, chairman of the local trade union Askar Kapanov, demonstrated a mature game, teamwork of the team players and its corporate spirit. For high sportsmanship, Berik Omarov, a senior translator of the company’s central office, was recognized as the best player of the tournament in the nomination “Uzdik baylanystrushy” (The best binder).
The top three winners were closed by a promising and friendly team of veterans of JSC “National Company “QazaqGaz” (Nur-Sultan), which, with the support of its fans and participants of the tournament, led by the chairman of the local trade union of JSC “Intergaz Central Asia” Shalkar Mazhenakov, showed their high sports skills, game correctness and respect for the colllegs, and she became a worthy winner of bronze medals, a cup, a pennant and a diploma of the tournament. A member of the national team of gas workers Artur Kabashov, the operator of the gas distribution station UMG “Aktau” JSC “Intergaz Central Asia” was awarded in the nomination “Uzdik oyynshy” (Best player), as a leader and a useful player of the team.
Traditionally, the organizers of the competitions have established special Cups, diplomas and personal pennants for players and teams who have distinguished themselves by their skills, who have shown their desire for success. The experienced and cohesive national team of PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources JSC was awarded the prize “For the Will to Win”, and the promising team of JV KazGerMunai LLP – the cup “Audience Award”. In the nominations “Uzdik oyynshy” the striker of the national team of JSC “Mangistaumunaigas” Aitbay Ashikkaliyev, the operator of the production department of the production department “Kalamkasmunaigas”, “Uzdik libera” the player of the national team of JSC “Karazhanbasmunai” Bolat Kuanyshaliyev, senior engineer of the company, “En yeresek oyynshy” became experienced players of the team of JSC “Mangistaumunaigas” Chirakbayev Asan Ungarbaevich, Head of the production department of Zhetybaymunaygas and the team of Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP Kuzeev Mukhamed-Galiy Zekenovich, plant operator.
At the tournament, special prizes, diplomas and pennants were awarded to the distinguished team players, social and sports partners of the tournament, members of the organizing committee. Viktor Sinelnikov and Yerzhan Tursynbekov became “Uzdik toreshi” and “Uzdik zhankuyeri”, “Uzdik sporttyk seriktesi” recognized the team of the sports complex of KazNU named after Al-Farabi and the best player of the team, drainer-bottler of the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant Azamat Zhakupov. Labor collectives became the owners of a special prize, a personal diploma and a pennant “The best social partner of the tournament”, “The best sponsor of the tournament”: joint-stock companies “QazaqGaz”, “Mangistaumunaigaz”, “Karazhanbasmunai”, “PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources”, LLP JV “KazGerMunai” and LLP “Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant”.
