CENTRAL ASIAN TRADE UNIONS ARE STRENGTHENING COOPERATION

Within the framework of the II meeting of the members of the Council of Trade Unions of the Central Asian Countries (CTU of CAC) Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin held bilateral meetings with his colleagues – heads of national trade union centers of Tajikistan and Mongolia.

Chairman of the FTURK Satybaldy Dauletalin congratulated the leader of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Mongolia (CTUM), Erdenebat Sukhbaatar, on the entry of the KPM into the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries.

Currently, CTUM is the largest trade union center in Mongolia, uniting about 450 thousand employees. It consists of 14 branch and 22 regional unions of trade unions. The sides exchanged views on further joint work within the Council of Trade Unions of the Central Asian country, and also spoke in favor of strengthening cooperation between the trade union centers of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

With his Tajik counterpart, Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Maliksho Nematzoda, Satybaldy Dauletalin also discussed the main areas of cooperation within the framework of the CTU of CAC and between the national trade union centers of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan is the largest trade union association of its country and includes 17 branch and 4 territorial unions with a total number of 900 thousand people.

Recall that from September 21 to 23 of this year, the II meeting of the members of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian countries is being held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, where by a unanimous decision of the members of the Council, a Kazakh professional leader – Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin was elected Secretary General of the organization.
