According to the work plan of the regional trade union, in order to improve the skills of trade union personnel and trade union activists of the region, on February 2, 2023, a seminar-meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic: “Actual issues of the activities of the legal service of the Trade Union to protect the rights and legitimate interests of workers in the industry”.
As the speakers of the event performed the chairman of the Kazakhstan branch trade union A. Mukasheva, the head of the department of legal work, labor protection and safety R. Kidirbayeva, the chief specialist A. Bektabanov.
The chairmen of the district and city branches of the trade union of Akmola region took part in the work of the seminar-meeting.
By opening the meeting, Chairwoman of the Sectoral Trade Union Aigul Mukasheva summed up the work of the Trade Union over the past year, and also set a number of priority tasks for 2023.
Furthermore, the chief expert of the Department for Work with Pedagogical Personnel of the Committee for Preschool and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Bazarbaeva spoke about the features of the application of new industry-specific legal acts, the appointment of first managers and teachers, the rotation of heads of educational organizations.
- Zhakenova, the developer of the rules, the head of the personnel department of the Department of Education of Astana, spoke on the issues of attestation and answered the questions of the chairmen of the regional and city branches of the trade union.
- Kidirbayeva, head of the department of legal work, labor protection and labor safety of the Kazakhstan branch trade union, spoke about the changes and additions made to the Labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about the form and methods of protecting the rights of workers by trade unions.
- Bektabanov, Chief Specialist of the Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union, answered questions on public control over compliance with labor legislation, on the activities of the production council, on the observance of safety and labor protection in educational organizations.
The participants of the seminar-meeting received exhaustive answers to their questions and expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the information provided.
